ASIAN BROADCASTING NET WORK ( URDU RADIO TALK SHOW)

It has been a marvellous experience to be a co-host on Urdu Talk Radio. It's like a world around me .To listen and see the people of different field and from different parts of the world. The best part of all is the knowledge I gained from the celebrities to whom I interviewed. I must say that I am totally impressed with Dr Mujahid Ghazi and Shahran Asim who has been school to me. The other members also excellent in their field and perform their work with dedication. I learn from every one at every Sunday. Dr Mujahid is a great asset to me and to Pakistani Diaspora in the US. He always encourages my talent from time to time and polish my literary/ poetic skills.

He is not only a good Physician but an accomplished speaker who supports for all human-care organization. I found him a good poetic skill too.Although he does not claim himself as a poet but he showed me some poems he wrote. Whenever I consult him to "Islah" (Correction) of my poetry, I found him intelligent and literary.

SHAHRAN THIS IS BECAUSE OF YOU.

Wow! Shahran this is really because of you. Now it is time to a new era. Technology at its peak . At first, it's hard to imagine, to have a Blog like this at a very short notice. As I know I am around with such a high tech people like you, sabahat and jebran who always played a vital role for me. You are the person who diverted my direction toward the journalism. Now, I can express my views, poems and other literary stuff through this Blog.
My profession was banking, but I found a poetic skill since 2003. I like the philosophy in the poetry and the manner a poet express the feeling with beautiful words(redhem). The poetry skill I inherited from my mother but become a poet was a tragic incident of 911, generally Muslim, particularly Pakistanis who suffered a lot and I was one of them. As my friends said that I always been very sensitive and noticing some time very small things around me .Initially, I wrote some of poems without having knowledge of poetic skills and rules . One day I met Dr Mujahid Ghazi who has been working as a radiologist in one of the reputed hospitals of Chicago and Chairman / Host of Urdu talk radio program at 1590 am. I recited some poems eloquently in taranum. He was amazed to hear it, and abruptly invited me to his very next day radio show. I must say that the way he appreciated me on his radio station, was enough to be proud and thank full to him for encouraging me on radio . After this recognition I flew in the air .When show over, he offered me to work as Co-Host for the radio program on volunteer basis . And I accepted the offer right away.

. After this recognition I began to search how to improve my poetry skills and to understand the basic knowledge of poetry. In this connection,

I met Mr. Ameen Haider who is a literary activist, introduced me Mr. Sohail Hashmat who been very popular poet in Chicago..

.He is the only one in Chicago whose unique humorous poetry (mazahiya shayery) has always been welcome. He delighted to help me and advised me to recite poetry in "Tarranum"(in singing way) as he believe that I might got a good recognition due to my voice.
He said that in Pakistan there are few poets who reciting in tarranum. I put his some of videos in this Blog...
